I've had a game-changing breakthrough in my pentatonic scale journey, and I'm eager to share it with you. Let's admit it, not all pentatonic licks hit the mark. Some just sound off, like a dog's unexpected toot.
Through trial and error, I've discovered a key to unlocking precision and control in these licks: hybrid picking and more specifically Hybrid Legato. By combining pick and fingers, I've minimized errors and maximized speed and clarity, especially in fast runs.
Traditionally, I'd rely on alternate picking, but it often led to slip-ups and missed notes. Now, by assigning tasks to each finger, I've eliminated those pitfalls and created smoother, cleaner licks.
Trust me, the difference is night and day. With hybrid picking, you'll sound more polished and professional, without sacrificing speed.
